About Katie Khan

Katie Khan, writer and author of Hold Back the Stars, at a desk with a pile of speculative fiction novels

Bio.

Katie Khan is a writer from London whose first novel, Hold Back the Stars, was translated into more than twenty languages and is being adapted for film by the producers of Stranger Things. The novel was a finalist for the Romantic Novel Awards and shortlisted for Brave New Words, which celebrates originality in genre writing. Hold Back the Stars is about a young couple falling in space with only 90 minutes of air remaining, intercut with their love story on a utopian Earth. Katie’s second novel, The Light Between Us, was published in 2018: a story of unrequited love and female friendship – and time travel.

Katie is represented by literary agent Juliet Mushens at Mushens Entertainment, and for film by Howie Sanders at Anonymous Content.
