How to stay sane in lockdown... Podcasts!

How are you keeping sane during these crazy times? I’d love some tips.

If you’re looking for some company or distraction right now, I had a lovely chat with Sunil for the Most Important Podcast (@mostimportantpod) before the coronavirus crisis, about why I like having a job in film as well as being an author—namely, staying busy/inspired and having a routine! (Which has kinda gone out the window during quarantine...) 🤪

The podcast asks each guest about their most important mistake, advice, possession, memory, and more—the other guests are AMAZING (Claudia Winkleman’s ep is fun!).

We recorded this a few months ago, before the current crisis and while I had an onset migraine, so I can’t remember much of what I said... I def raved about the Suffragettes, for some reason... 🤷‍♀️ Enjoy! Maybe with a cuppa! Subscribe! Find the Most Important Podcast on all your fave podcatchers (so wherever you get your podcasts).

Podcasts are very calming at the moment, like a personal radio station you can choose by topic. If you’d like to listen to more chatter, I spoke with Sam Clements for his awesome podcast 90 Minutes (or Less) Film Fest— in which each guess picks a film to show at an imaginary film festival, which must be 90 minutes in duration or less.

I picked GRAVITY — so you can listen to us chat about space, the ISS, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, my own novel set in space (Hold Back the Stars) and more…
