If you ever want to read a scifi that's not really scifi in the sense of being all about the tech, I HIGHLY recommend Katie Khan's books! . The Light Between Us is her newest and I LOVED it. it's kind of a love story but also not because there is SO much more to it. Also: TIME TRAVEL. Kind of. You gotta find out for yourself :P My favorite aspect of the book is without a doubt the friendship between the girls which is still such a rare thing to find in books, especially adult SFF. . I love me some good time travel stories, especially when they tackle the time paradox. (recs always welcome!) While I usually adore Doctor Who and the like, Katie Khan showed me a different side to it, and once again crushed me with the feels. . I'll never tire of her making me read books/topics (*cough* romance *cough*) that I usually wouldn't even think of touching, and making me fall in love with the story, hard. . #bookreadhappyhour - let's do the time warp again!

THE LIGHT BETWEEN US 💫 I’ve had @katie_khan’s new book on pre-order for a while, after I read Hold Back The Stars and fell in love with her characters, I knew I’d need this! The story follows Thea a ‘single minded’ physicist at Oxford, desperate to prove her theory of time travel, but more than that it’s a tender explanation of the subtleties of friendship, and where the lines between love and friendship can become blurred. It’s hard to say too much without spoiling the plot, but if you like physics, badass female protagonists and books you’ll want to binge read in four hours straight, look no further ✨⭐️💫
